Welcome to the Essex Golf Development Group (was the Essex Golf Partnership), an alliance between the Essex County Golf Union, The Essex Ladies County Golf Association and the Essex Professional Golfers' Association.
Funded by Sport England, our objective is to introduce the game of golf to beginners and encourage people to play golf more often.
We works very closely with The Golf Foundation and ActiveEssex to assist in the delivery of strong county-wide support to clubs, golfers, schools and individuals looking to take up the game.
